Description
Fantastic mid-century floor vase from the West German firm of Scheurich Keramik.
Alois Scheurich established his ceramics factory in Kleinheubach in 1954. The Scheurich company became one of the largest manufacturers of ceramics in Germany from the 1950s onwards. Their iconic ‘fat lava’ lamps and vases have become a signature of 60s and 70s mid-century modern design.
Standing an impressive 40cm high, this floor vase is a real statement piece and will make an impact in any room. The striking geometric design is complemented by the contrast between the rich dark brown and the warm orange brown tones. The vase is finished in a high gloss glaze. A real statement piece and perfect for any mid-century modern living room.
